Blink produces Last Chance Live advert for Virgin Media

Blink TV was commissioned by Virgin Media and Itch, the entertainment marketing agency, to produce and direct ‘Last Chance Live’, a live advert starring impressionist Leigh Francis. The advert was filmed from the ‘Our House’ area at the V Festival and gave fans a final chance to win an exclusive ticket package. Blink worked closely with Itch, Virgin and the team at DDB to devise a detailed creative and technical solution through many months of careful planning. Live adverts are something of a rarity, largely due to the technical complexity and perceived lack of flexibility. However, Blink’s experience in live filming, technical competence and its understanding of commercial dynamics enabled the delivery an advert that exceeded client expectations. A significant factor was our long-term involvement with V Festival which, together and the fact that we had existing resources on site, made for a smooth and cost effective execution.
