JLS on Red or Black
Blink produce visuals for JLS appearance on Red or Black
Blink was commissioned by Epic Records to design and create an amazing visual solution for JLS’s triumphant performance on Red or Black of their chart-topping single, She Makes Me Wanna. The show’s Creative Director, Elizabeth Honan quickly identified that the stunning stage set – a giant box of LED of various resolutions – required a truly three-dimensional video content design. Blink’s own creative team used a CAD of the set to create 3D models, and experimented with how the video floor could reflect the bands dance moves. The concept was a very modern interpretation of classic nightclub lighting, and was designed to look fantastic from all TV camera angles – including overhead shots and reverses, rather than just ‘front on’.
