National TV Awards
Blink Produces visuals for Jedward and Joe McElderry at the National Television Awards.
Working with Syco Music and X Factor Creative Director Brian Friedman, we created high-impact visuals that perfectly matched the staging and choreography. For Joe, we wanted a visual that would frame him as the X Factor star he has become – so animated a radiating light ray which came from a central point behind the set. For Jedward’s performance with Vanilla Ice, we created a half-tone cartoon treatment of fire and an ice blue equaliser for their show-stealing Ice Ice Baby duet. The simple graphics were designed to work on camera and fit within the awards show format.
