Blink supplies video equipment for latest Keane tour

Blink supplied all the video equipment and crew for the latest Keane UK tour. Included in the specification was a substantial amount of Low Resolution LED screen split into 2 sections, 1 x down stage and 1 x upstage, plus 2 x projection side screens. 2 x long lenses plus 2 x “robo cams” were also used. The screens were controlled by the Lighting Director, Rob Sinclair from the Front of House position, using a catalyst system.

Blink provided a pre-show entertainment package and an interval entertainment package, which was created in conjunction with the band themselves, to add to the atmosphere they were trying to create and to accurately reflect the tastes of the anticipated audience.

Blink were able to provide the tour with a very competitive package, which allowed them to use substantially more equipment than would otherwise have been afforded by the budget, in return for Blink showing advertising on the side screens. The tour ran from 18th January until the 14th February.
