Bespoke Screen Content – Case Study

Film production designer Alan Macdonald and contemporary dance choreographer Raphael Bonachela came up with a truly original idea for Square Map of Q4. A dance piece inspired by the TS Eliot poem ‘Four Quartets’ based around four elements, seasons, emotions and stages in the human life cycle.

Four video projectors positioned on the floor provided the dominant light source and projected cutting-edge graphics directly on the dancers bodies. Blink’s in-house team created all the highly-conceptual bespoke content fed into the projectors in a show where the choreography was designed to convey the narrative partly through the effects of light and moving video on the human body.
