Bespoke Screen Content – Case Study

Blink worked closely with Creative Director Es Devlin and Mika himself to produce powerful visuals for his biggest ever show at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris. The stage set was cleverly designed by Devlin around the theme of a clown’s face, with the mouth and eyes of the clown being made from video screen.

Blink’s team developed the video ideas from Mika’s original show treatment, in a highly creative production that included filming wooden bird puppets and a brass band, animating an exploding clock face, a cartoon vortex and a kitsch fruit machine.

Devlin was extremely pleased with the outcome, saying that “Blink work tirelessly until the moment before the show starts – and beyond – to achieve exceptional results that inspire and impress all who see them”.
