Advertising – Case Study

Guinness launched new TV creative in early 2010 themed around the cult sci-fi documentary Area 57. Blink TV worked with Guinness, an official partner of the Rugby Football Union, to find the most suitable environment for this creative, which also included a rugby element. The England vs Ireland RBS Six Nations international match at Twickenham Stadium was chosen and the advertising ran on Blink TV’s big screens, entertaining an enthusiastic crowd of rugby fans (and potential Guinness drinkers) throughout Ireland’s gripping 20-16 victory.
